About Us

The Ghana Union in Austria is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-religious organisation, open to Ghanaian individuals and other nationals who want to know more about Ghana and her people. Membership of the Union shall be Ghanaians and individuals or legal entities of Ghanaian origin, who have taken official residence in Austria and are duly registered with the Union.

The Union is the official representative organisation of all Ghanaians residing in Austria. Its mission is to represent the Ghanaian community in all matters affecting the interest of Ghanaians in Austria.

It also seeks to instil in Ghanaians the spirit of patriotism and sense of awareness and pride in their cultural heritage, support one another and in the co-operation between Ghanaians in successful relationships.

• Foster friendship among Ghanaians in Austria and elsewhere.
• Enhance co-operation between Ghanaians and other Nationals in Austria.
• Address issues of regional or national and international significance.
• Seek the welfare of members of the Union.
• Assist developments in disadvantaged Regions and support other relevant projects in Ghana
